An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a test that looks at the electrical activity of the brain to see if there are any problems. An EEG records and tracks the way brain waves move. Electrodes, which are small metal discs with thin wires, are placed on the scalp and send signals to a computer, which keeps track of the results.
At its centers, DDBDJS has advanced EEG tests. Before going to the center, the patient has to shampoo and rinse his or her hair well. The EEG is a simple, non-invasive test that is done by attaching electrodes to gel-sensitized nodes in the head. The probes are then used to read the electrical signals in the brain. Once the process of recording electrical signals in the brain is done, the gel needs to be cleaned and washed off with a good shampoo.
